Dr Manish K Pandey, Scientist, Groundnut Genomics, Genetic Gains Program, ICRISAT, was awarded Associateship of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS), India, on 5 June in New Delhi. The award recognizes serving young scientists below 40 years of age, working in agriculture-related disciplines in Research/ Academic Systems in India.

This year, Dr Pandey was also selected as member of the National Academy of Sciences (NASI), India, the oldest science academy in India.
