Participants trained: 41 from 24 organizations and 10 countries
With the objective of enhancing the capacities of national partners engaged in several collaborative programs, ICRISAT’s Center of Excellence in Genomics and Systems Biology (CEGSB) with support from CRP-Grain Legumes and Dryland Cereals (Flagship 5), CGIAR- Excellence in Breeding Platform (EiB), Tropical Legumes III & HOPE II projects both funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Govt. of Karnataka funded Genomics Consortium organized 13th training course. The course entitled “Next Generation Genomics & Breeding for Crop Improvement” was held during 17-21 Dec 2018 at ICRISAT, HQ Hyderabad. The advance training course trained 41 participants from 24 institutions of 10 countries. The scientists participating in these training courses came from different research institutes, universities, foundations and private sector.
